Classic Wood Stairway

Regular clients of ours have a beautiful house with a large foyer but had one really outdated feature – the stairway. It previously was carpeted and had a 1/2 wall that ran all the way up the stairs with a large brass rail mounted on top. We tore off the wall and railing and removed the carpet. We installed new oak stair treads and pine stair risers. New railings and balusters were installed which were then stained and painted. All of the floor tile in the foyer was replaced. This really opened up the foyer area and made it bright and inviting.
